The IRS story began in 1991, when Ricardo Oliveira started working in the cleaning industry. He gained hands-on experience across a wide range of roles, progressing from cleaner to sector manager with responsibility for around 150 employees. In 2014, he founded IRS Facility Services as a family business. Joana Oliveira joined the company in 2019 and has led IRS as Managing Director since 2021, bringing fresh ideas and modern processes to its continued development.

Away from work, Ricardo is a true family man. He enjoys passing on what he has learned and is always ready to lend a hand or share some good advice.
Joana joined IRS in 2019 and has led the family business as Managing Director since 2021. She combines the experience of the first generation with her own ideas, modern structures and a drive to make IRS better every day.
Family comes first for Joana outside work too. She loves good organisation and bringing new ideas to life, and she is always looking for that small improvement that can make a real difference.
